Melanie MInos is responsible for managing the CBA’s external communications with the public, including the CBA’s website. In addition, she oversees the CBA’s financial literacy programs Your Money Students, for high school students, and Your Money Seniors. Prior to joining the CBA in 2004, Melanie was the Assistant Director of Public Affairs at Advocis – the Financial Advisors Association of Canada where she held several positions in the communications department including manager of corporate communications and manager of media relations.

The Canadian Bankers Association (CBA) advocates for effective public policies that contribute to a sound, successful banking system that benefits Canadians and Canada's economy. The Association also promotes financial literacy to help Canadians make informed financial decisions and works with banks and law enforcement to help protect customers against financial crime and promote fraud awareness.

The BC Association of Community Response Networks (BC CRN) hosts’ monthly learning events, featuring information which helps communities provide a coordinated response to the abuse, neglect and self-neglect of vulnerable adults.
