Alberta Elder Abuse Awareness Network in partnership with Alberta Seniors is proud to co-host its second conference, FACE IT: Elder Abuse Happens – Building Connections, Creating Solutions. This two day conference focuses on issues, trends and looks at creative solutions to deal with Elder Abuse in Alberta. This unique conference brings together dynamic global experts to share educational opportunities and information on topics including: ‘Markers and Detectors’, ‘Law Enforcement and Prosecution’, up and coming information regarding the ‘National Knowledge Sharing Project’ and ‘Elder Abuse Prevalence Study’.

Workshops, panel discussions and a Community Response Network Poster Session create a vibrant learning environment to support professional development for diverse professionals who work in the field of Elder Abuse.

Elder abuse is complex and requires a collaborative effort from all disciplines, therefore we encourage professionals from diverse backgrounds to attend.
