If so, the Canadian Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse (CNPEA) is looking for YOU to
join our Board of Directors!

Deadline to apply: Thursday, August 15, 2019, 7 PM EST

Who are we?

The CNPEA is a charitable organization that connects people and organizations to foster the exchange of reliable information relating to the prevention of abuse of older adults. The CNPEA is also committed to advancing programs and policy developments at the local, regional, provincial/territorial and national levels which aim to improve the lives of our aging population.

About our Board

The CNPEA Board of Directors is a working board that meets virtually once a month to oversee the governance and operations of the organization in accordance with our mission, vision and strategic plan.

Call for new Board members!

The CNPEA is accepting applications for new Board members to join its pan-Canadian Board. We are seeking candidates who are committed to supporting the prevention of elder abuse in Canada and eager to provide leadership to our growing network. Seats available: 4-5

  • Individuals who are affiliated with other national or local community networks that provide information, services or are otherwise connected to seniors

Professional experience in the field of elder abuse prevention is not mandatory. A positive attitude and willingness to contribute are important to us. We welcome applicants from any background and of all ages.
