CNPEA is looking for expert media delegates and you could be one of them!

The Canadian Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse wishes to provide a coherent and unified voice on key points relating to elder abuse. Our communications policy and practices are guided by the belief that the CNPEA should be a credible, forthcoming source of information on elder abuse across Canada.

With this goal in mind, we are curating a list of designated expert delegates to help us respond to increasing media requests requiring a specific geographic response or area of expertise.

We will refer journalists to designated expert media delegates for their specific expertise on a particular topic or geographic area (ex: financial institutions’ response to financial abuse in Manitoba). When experts from our membership are asked to respond to a media request they must clearly state that they are not speaking on behalf of the CNPEA, but they are encouraged to promote the role of the network in their statement/interview.
