About this Site

This website is dedicated to abuse and neglect issues that affect seniors. It has been developed by the Canadian Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse, a federally incorporated non-profit organization.

The site is intended to help people access and share information on abuse and neglect issues in later life, as well as learn more about what is being done across Canada to address this important health, social and legal issue. It provides information to raise awareness of key issues around abuse and neglect in later life and to assure older adults are treated as full citizens in Canadian society.

The information provided here is copyright protected.  You have permission to use the information for non-commercial purposes as long as you identify CNPEA as the source. We encourage you to share and help build people's awareness across Canada about these issues.
