Le Réseau québécois pour contrer les abus envers les aînés (RQCAA)« le suicide assisté : abus? ». Comme vous le savez probablement déjà, le Réseau québécois pour contrer les abus envers les aînés (RQCAA) tient, le 5 juin 2009 de 9h00 à 16h30, son forum annuel qui sera suivi de son assemblée générale annuelle.
Le thème de cette année est « le suicide assisté : abus? ». Nous aurons deux conférenciers qui nous alimenterons sur le sujet :
• Mme Hélène Bolduc, présidente de l’Association québécoise pour le droit de mourir dans la dignité (AQDMD) • M. Yvon Bureau, travailleur social et consultant bénévole pour un mourir digne et libre
Des extraits du film de l’ONF Mourir pour soi de l'auteure Lina B. Moreco (2000) seront aussi présentés. Suite au visionnement et aux présentations des conférenciers suivront les échanges avec le public. Vous trouverez le programme détaillé de la journée en pièce jointe.
Cette activité aura lieu au Centre communautaire de loisirs communautaire Lajeunesse, situé au 7378 rue Lajeunesse, à Montréal. Pour participer, nous vous invitons à remplir la fiche d’inscription que vous trouverez aussi en pièce jointe. Comme les places sont limitées nous vous demandons de nous faire parvenir votre fiche par la poste ou par télécopieur (514.270.2787) avec votre paiement ou une copie de votre chèque que vous pourrez nous remettre sur place. Pour les membres du RQCAA, les coûts sont de 40$, pour les non-membres de 55$ et pour les étudiants de 20$, ce qui inclut le repas du dîner.

Thunder Bay 1st Annual Seniors Rock Walk
Description: Thunder Bay will be holding its 1st annual SENIORS ROCK WALK. An area of road is being closed off by police and the group will walk to the 55 Plus Centre. School children are invited as well.
Rose Nadeau has written a special seniors rock song which will be performed at the walk and at the upcoming conference "Reaching for Balance- Rights and Obligations Regarding Senior Care" on May 5th, 2009.
